How Does it Work?

Accepted Answer

1. Choose what type of poem you're looking for (special occasion gift, wedding poem, favour poems, keepsake card)
 
2. Place your orderand choose your payment method. We accept all major credit cards.
 
3. Fill in our questionnaire. You can place your order well in advance of your wedding day and send the questionnaire back to use closer to the time! Ps. Keepsake card info is completed upon checkout - you don't need a questionnaire for this!
 
4. Once we have received your answers we will create the perfect poem for you.
 
5. We will return the piece to you via email and you can provide feedback until you are 100% happy.
 
6. Your poem will be completed and ready for the special occasion.

What Do You Ask in the Questionnaire?

Accepted Answer

You will have a lot of fun when filling in our questionnaire; it is straightforward, but allows us to get a glimmer into your life or your loved one's life. We ask about jobs, hobbies, quirks, habits and all sorts of other personality traits that will help us to craft the perfect poem for your special occasion.

Can You Write Funny Wedding Day Poems?

Yes! We specialise in witty, smart and memorable wedding poems. If you want clever rhymes, you're in the right place. We will provide you with non-cheesy, bespoke literature that suits your personality perfectly. 
 
The owner of Veil and Verse, Rachel has a BA in English Language and an MA in Journalism. She has years of experience in writing for lifestyle blogs, online businesses and poetry for special occasions; she really knows her words.

How Long Does it Take?

Accepted Answer

We can produce a fabulous bespoke rhyme in as little as a few days. During busy times we may take a couple of months to return the final piece to you, so please place your order in plenty of time.
 
We will strive to meet your deadline and prioritise our pieces, so don't worry if you're placing a last minute order; we will always get it back to you on time.

Can You Write Poems for Any Occasion?

Yes! Although Veil and Verse specialises in writing bespoke poetry for weddings, we love creating rhymes for any special occasion. If you would like to buy a poem for an upcoming event please purchase one of our 'Special Occasion Poems'. Feel free to email us for more information too.

Question 6

Will My Information Be Kept Private?

Accepted Answer

Any information you provide to us will not be shared with anyone other than our writing team.
 
Your poem may be published on social media for marketing purposes, but this will only be done after your event or occasion (we don't want to ruin the surprise!)
 
Your notes and questionnaire answers will be kept on our systems for two months after you have received your piece. After this time frame your notes will be removed from our system.

Can I Read Samples of Your Poems?

Our product page and Instagram contains many examples of the rhymes we have created for previous clients. This should give you a good indication of our writing style. If you are looking for a poem genre that we haven't displayed online, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

Do You Offer Refunds?

Accepted Answer

Please note that no refunds are offered for my products due to the personalised nature. I put a lot of time, thought and love into every creation and can guarantee you'll be over the moon with the final product!

I really appreciate your kindness and patience whilst I respond to emails, process orders and update you on your poems. As a small business owner with two little ones, life is pretty busy. I'll always try and get back to you as quickly as possible! If you ever have any questions or require an update with your order, please just ask :)
